Strategiekommission

Dear students, the faculty will start next week Wednesday (20.3) and Thursday (21.3) strategy workshops, where the direction of the faculty for the next ~10 years will be discussed and thought through. This will also include student topics: How should future teaching look like? Are there gaps in the curriculum? Do we want to become more international? Do we want more students or not? This process is intended to build a faculty-wide consensus, which will be documented.

The plan is as follows:

• The event will be conducted bilingually (EN/DE). Everyone can express their contribution in their preferred language.

20.3.2024 (APB E023)

• 10:00-10:30: Presentation of the objectives and introduction to the process (Prof. Rank)
• 10:30-13:00: Vision (what do we want to be? what do we not want to be?)
• 14:00-17:00: Mission statement (what values do we represent? how do we present ourselves?)

21.3.2024 (APB E023)

• 09:30-12:00: Environment analysis - collection of topics and formation of working groups /
• Assignment of persons
• 13:00-15:30: Collection of strategic topics (late registration of further topics via e-mail until
• 1.4.2024)

You do NOT have to register to participate. And you can only be present for some sections of this event.

The IFSR and the dean's office would be happy if as many people as possible drop by and express their opinions and contribute to the process. Catering will be provided
