Repeated FSR elections - results published
The results of the repeated faculty council elections were published: 19 of 22 candidates have been elected. We thank every poll worker and voter and wish our new members all the best in terms of representing the students. Of course, interested non-elected are also always welcome in helping for the FSR work. The first meeting of the new FSR will be on 30th, January 23.
Unfortunately, there were a few mistakes during the election (people could vote more than once). As this could change who will be elected, the election committee decided after long discussions that the election for the student council for the computer science faculty has to be repeated. The new elections will take place on Tuesday, January 17th 2023 from 9 o'clock till 11:30 a.m. in the lecture hall center of TU Dresden (HSZ) and from 12:30 to 5 p.m. in the entry area of Andreas-Pfitzmann-Building (APB). On wednesday, the 18th january 2023 you can vote from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Hörsaalzentrum (HSZ). On Thursday, the 19th January 2023 we collect your ballots from 9 till 1 o'clock at the HSZ and from 4:30 to 5 p.m. in the foyer of Andreas-Pfitzmann-Building. Afterward, the votes will be counted. We hope to have your support and want to keep our voting numbers as high as possible. Also, we hope that the dates are far enough removed from your exams, so you can participate.
Just like the faculty of politics, internationals and society (in German often shortened to PIG) who has to retake the elections for the school committee GSW there will not be a new deadline to apply for early elections. Instead, the early elections will be sent out to the same people who applied for them in the first round (otherwise we would need to change the voting period).
