Responsibilities

People offices

Spokespeople

The spokespeople represent the FSR to the outside and serve as contact persons in official matters. They are well connected, keep an overview and try to recognize problems early.

"Of course, it is also part of it to ensure cohesion and a good environment in the FSR. When conflicts arise, spokespersons should be able to mediate." - Robert

Financial Officers

The financial officers are responsible for the financial means of the FSR. They take care that invoices are paid, financial transactions are carried out properly and that there is no hole in the bank account. At the end of the budget year, the financiers carry out the annual financial statement.

Structures

The structurers are responsible for the internal process and for the workability of the FSR. They make sure that office material is always available, that the minutes are published and that postings are forwarded. In general, structurers try to keep an eye on everything and ensure order and structure in the FSR.

Admins

The admins make sure that the infrastructure works. They take care of the FSR server, which is responsible for mails, file management and all kinds of web services. We use NixOS as operating sytem. More can be found on the GitHub Repo.

Workings Groups (WG)

Even if you are not a member of the FSR, you are welcome to join our working groups and task forces. Just write to the respective mail address and ask for more information!

Orga of the First Semester Introduction (ESE)

Already more than half a year before the actual event we start planning the ESE. Each small or large part of the ESE has persons in charge, who are supported by many hard-working helpers. In addition to the events themselves, other tasks such as space planning, financing or public relations have to be managed. You want to be part of it? Write us a mail!

WG Public Relations

We communicate and represent all important information from the FSR to the public. To do this, we have to maintain the website, write info texts and design visuals. We also manage our social media channels like Instagram, Twitter or our Telegram channel. We are looking forward to creative minds who want to strengthen our team!

WG Sustainability

We are not only concerned with implementing the idea of sustainability in the work of the student council, but best of all on the whole campus! In doing so, we advocate for resource-saving measures, such as in the ESE or simply in the office work of the FSR.

WG Teaching

The WG deals with one of the most important tasks of the student council, teaching. Here, course reforms, quality of the courses and all other topics related to teaching are discussed.
In case of urgent problems, the members seek direct contact with the lecturers. Many of the members also sit on the Study Committee (see postings for explanation). Often, the course-specific members can then also carry topics forward to the StuKo.

Game Night Taskforce

We organize the game nights for you. The amount of organization is relatively small. However, people must be present throughout the evening to prepare the seminar rooms and the foyer so that games can be played in them. At the end, of course, the rooms and the games have to be cleaned up again. In addition, we also organize drinks and snacks for you. We have also organized poker and chess tournaments. New ideas are always welcome!

WANTED

In the past years there were also many other WGs, but unfortunately they do not meet actively anymore. The topics are still relevant, but we need your support to revive them.
Just contact us at fsr@ifsr.de or drop by our meeting (see meetings) and tell us where you would like to be involved!

  • WG Documentation, which maintains the work of the FSR neatly in a wiki.
  • WG Internationalization, which deals with how to support international students at the faculty.
  • AG Networking, which is in contact with other universities and student councils to exchange ideas and knowledge with each other
  • WG Events, which plans and organizes various events for our students, either on its own or with external partners.
