Information of the iFSR on teaching in the summer semester 2020

Detailed information

You should already have received some information about the effects of COVID-19 on teaching in the summer semester 2020. However, we would like to remind you of the most important things.

There will be no courses which students are expected to attend until 4th May 2020. But this does not mean that no teaching will take place. Many chairs are currently planning the realization of various e-learning formats, for example with the help of Opal. Please inform yourself on the websites of the courses about the exact changes and don't forget to enroll if necessary.

Because many digital courses are just being created, some things may not work perfectly at the beginning, but you can contribute to their success: Be more patient than usual and give the professors feedback. Of course, it is very important to know that such digital courses require a higher degree of self-initiative and self-discipline. Use the different possibilities of the chairs to deepen the teaching material and try to work continuously.

If you have any questions or problems, you can contact us any time by email at fsr@ifsr.de. We will help you directly or we can refer you to the right contact point.
